Job summary

Chevron Phillips Chemical invites applications for a Reliability Engineer - Fixed at our Sweeny, TX site. You will champion the Mechanical Integrity program, aiming to optimize equipment reliability, uptime, and safety within our refinery operations.

The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering and at least five years in refinery/chemical plant environments, with a focus on predictive maintenance and process improvements. Travel up to 10% may be needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or closely related field.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on refinery or chemical plant experience.
• Strong understanding of mechanical integrity and predictive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Implements Mechanical Integrity program at the site.
• Analyzes reliability metrics to identify issues.
• Develops and installs predictive maintenance programs and apps.
• Coordinates stocking levels to maximize uptime at minimum cost.
• Investigates equipment failures and implements corrective actions.
