Job summary

Chevron Phillips Chemical is seeking a Reliability Engineering Manager for the Southeast Texas Chemical Complex in Orange. You will lead the reliability strategy, drive improvements in equipment performance, and manage reliability engineers and specialists to ensure safe, cost-effective operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
• Proven track record managing reliability schedules, planning and cost-controls systems.
• Ability to assess costs, schedule, and prepare forecasts.
• Experience with SAP, scheduling, planning, and cost estimation.
• Ability to manage tasks and reliability tasks across implementation stages.

Responsibilities

• Develops people and manages direct reports.
• Assist in site Reliability budget development and tracking.
• Deploys complex reliability excellence activities and identify value-creation opportunities.
• Ensures strategic development of asset reliability-centered maintenance applications.
• Develops equipment repair procedures and specifications to improve plant reliability and EH&S compliance.
• Evaluates and provides recommendations for Project Management Optimization.
• Directs equipment failure investigations and root-cause analyses to prevent recurrence.
• Leads integration of reliability systems in the Capital Project process; performs lifecycle cost analysis.
