Job summary

DuPont’s Cooper River site in Moncks Corner, SC, seeks a Mechanical Reliability Engineer to improve equipment performance, plant reliability, and maintenance effectiveness. You will partner with process, electrical, and automation engineers to tackle complex challenges and drive continuous improvement in a hands-on manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
5+ years in manufacturing, reliability, or mechanical engineering roles.
Experience reading P&IDs and equipment diagrams.

Responsibilities

Own equipment reliability across plant systems and infrastructure.
Lead front-end loading and execution of minor to mid-size capital improvements.
Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
Lead RCFA investigations and apply structured problem-solving tools.
Analyze performance trends and validate corrective actions for sustainable improvements.
Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to deliver results.
