Job summary

DuPont seeks a Mechanical Reliability Engineer to drive equipment reliability across our manufacturing operations. You will partner with Operations, Maintenance and Engineering teams to identify opportunities, solve complex equipment challenges, and support capital projects that improve safety, efficiency, and productivity.

The role emphasizes RCFA, FMEA, predictive maintenance, and vibration analysis, with involvement in Process Safety Management and plant turnarounds to ensure safe operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or related discipline preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, reliability, maintenance, or process engineering.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
  • Experience leading continuous improvement and reliability initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support reliability improvement initiatives across the plant.
  • Perform root cause failure analyses and develop sustainable solutions to improve equipment performance.
  • Analyze equipment and maintenance data to identify trends and optimize asset reliability.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to reduce process variability and improve operational performance.
  • Support capital projects by providing reliability expertise during design, installation, commissioning, and startup phases.
  • Participate in Process Safety Management (PSM) activities, with a focus on Mechanical Integrity and Quality Assurance.
  • Contribute to turnaround and shutdown planning to ensure safe and reliable plant operations.
