3M in Tonawanda, NY is seeking a Reliability Engineer to drive reliability initiatives across equipment and processes. You will design and implement reliability improvement standards, lead reliability teams, and ensure robust PM/PdM programs while optimizing asset life cycle management.

The role requires a hands-on engineer with experience in reliability analysis, RCМ/TPM, and capability to communicate complex concepts clearly. Domestic travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree in a science or engineering field before start.
• Six years of combined maintenance, engineering, manufacturing or plant engineering experience.
• Preferred: Mechanical/Mechatronics background, ability to read drawings.
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical details to diverse audiences.
• Professional reliability credentials (e.g., CMRP or similar) are a plus.
• Experience with reliability analysis, PdM/PM, and analytical troubleshooting is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Outline and execute reliability improvement standards to achieve world-class maintenance.
• Perform FMEA to ensure proper PM and PdM programs across assets.
• Apply RCm and TPM methodologies to maintenance practices.
• Lead reliability improvement teams and act as SME for equipment reliability.
• Manage KPIs and report results of reliability program activities.
• Support Life Cycle Asset Management and critical spares strategy.
