Job summary

EOS Defense Systems USA, Inc. seeks an experienced Reliability Engineer to enhance reliability, maintainability, and availability of defense/aerospace systems.

You will work with cross-disciplinary teams to identify failure modes, define reliability requirements, and verify performance across the product lifecycle. The role involves reliability modeling, FMEA/FMECA/FTA analyses, test planning, data evaluation, and close collaboration with hardware and software engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, Industrial, or related field.
• 5+ years in reliability/maintainability engineering or related discipline.
• Knowledge of reliability principles, life distributions, and failure rate analysis.
• Experience with FMEA/FMECA/FTA and root-cause analysis.
• Develops reliability predictions and RAM assessments.
• Ability to analyze test/field data and support corrective actions.
• Familiarity with reliability testing and verification of hardware/software.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop RAM plans for defense systems across product lifecycle.
• Support RAM requirements development, allocation, verification, and validation.
• Perform reliability predictions and reliability block diagram modeling.
• Conduct FMEA, FMECA, and fault tree analyses; suggest design improvements.
• Collaborate with systems, electrical, mechanical, software, and test teams.
• Create reliability test plans, procedures, and acceptance criteria.
• Support environmental, life, and reliability growth testing; evaluate results.
• Analyze laboratory and field data to identify failure trends.
• Lead root cause investigations and verify corrective actions via FRACAS.
• Evaluate maintainability and repair tasks to improve sustainment.
• Prepare RAM analyses, test reports, risk assessments, and reviews.
• Ensure compliance with standards and support proposals.
