Ahlstrom Stevens Point Mill is seeking a Reliability Engineer Co-op for Fall 2027 in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. You will support the Maintenance Team to meet safety, quality, production, and cost objectives for a paper machine process line, while developing technical skills for a future full-time role.

Applicants must be enrolled in a Reliability or Mechanical Engineering program, able to relocate May–December 2027, and authorized to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in Reliability or Mechanical Engineering degree program.
• Authorized to work full-time in the United States.
• Relocation to Stevens Point, WI May–December 2027.
• Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
• Able to communicate effectively across levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate product improvement or cost optimization projects.
• Assist with machine shutdowns and start-ups.
• Learn and provide technical support for Proficy, Centerlining, Optivision and Aspentech.
• Monitor, assess, analyze, and optimize process quality and conditions.
• Monitor, assess, and analyze process variability.
• Support safety, productivity, quality, and housekeeping initiatives.
