Job summary

LSB Chemical L.L.C. is seeking a Fixed Reliability Engineer to strengthen the site MI program at our Oklahoma City facility. You will drive inspection planning, vessel and pipe integrity, and data accuracy in PCMS while supporting MO/MI leads and project engineering.

Responsibilities include preparing MEMOs for AFE justification, coordinating with NDE teams, and ensuring safety procedures and codes are followed. Expect 12–13 hour days during turnarounds and 25% travel to site locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
• Complete API, National Board, and AWS certifications.
• Write detailed recommendation memos to support AFE justification and historical benefits.
• Comply with all safety requirements, procedures, written processes, and policies.
• Review site generated ITP’s for external and internal inspections of stationary equipment.
• Assist site MI’s with expertise to run and maintain activities.
• Work 12-13 hour days during turnarounds.
• Travel 25% of the time to our site locations with the option to be located at one of the sites.
• Continually develop as a SME in field of expertise.
• Train others on good manufacturing practices and applicable codes.
• Attend meetings where invited.
• Collaborate with corporate MI manager and other sites.
• Assist other sites as needed including turnaround prep.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee inspection frequencies for vessels, tanks, and pipes.
• Maintain PCMS/asset data accuracy and timelines for inspections.
• Support MT/MI leads in implementing reliability improvements.
• Review drawings and codes for new equipment compliance.
• Provide QA oversight for contractor code work during projects.
