Job summary

BENTELER, based in the United States, seeks a Maintenance professional to lead Reliability Centered Maintenance strategies and drive reliability improvements across plant operations. You will collaborate with engineering and operations to optimize asset performance, reduce costs, and implement engineered enhancements.

The role requires 5–10 years of experience in maintenance and reliability, with strong root cause analysis, RBI/RCM knowledge, and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
• 5–10 years of technical work experience.
• Experience with root cause analysis and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of maintenance best practices (RBI, PM, RBI).
• Experience in reliability, stationary equipment, predictive/preventative maintenance.
• Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent communication and ability to interact with all levels in the organization.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing a comprehensive Reliability Centered Maintenance strategy for plant needs.
• Identify and apply best practices to improve reliability across the site.
• Guide efforts to ensure reliability and maintainability of equipment, processes, utilities, facilities, controls, and safety systems.
• Apply reliability tools to drive improvements, optimize costs, and improve asset effectiveness (e.g., FMEA, RBI, RBM, RCM).
• Monitor KPIs and metrics for proactive reliability issue resolution.
• Lead RCFA and corrective actions for complex problems and participate in reliability-related investigations.
• Develop and implement engineered improvements for chronic issues and optimize PM effectiveness.
• Collaborate with Engineering to ensure reliability of new installations and assist in scope development.
