Job summary

Integrated Talent Strategies is seeking a Reliability Engineer for a global automotive supplier with facilities across North America. The role ensures plant equipment and processes run safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime, focusing on identifying failures and improving maintenance strategies.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, 3–5+ years in reliability or maintenance engineering, and strong knowledge of RCFA, RC M? FMEA, CMMS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
• 3–5+ years in reliability/maintenance engineering in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM), FMEA, and Root Cause Analysis.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze equipment performance and reliability.
• Conduct Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) for equipment breakdowns and recurring failures.
• Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance/reliability tools to monitor asset health, benchmark performance, and extend critical asset life.
• Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and reduce unplanned downtime.
• Analyze maintenance and operational data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
• Support maintenance and operations teams in troubleshooting complex equipment issues.
• Develop and track reliability reports, KPIs, and performance metrics.
• Participate in risk assessments, including Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
• Ensure compliance with applicable safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Recommend equipment modifications and process improvements to improve reliability and increase asset life.
• Partner with maintenance, engineering, and operations teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.
