Linde plc in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Reliability Electrical Engineer - Electronics to ensure safe and reliable operation of production facilities while driving lowest life cycle costs. You will develop outage plans, manage spare parts, and collaborate with regional reliability teams to implement best practices.

The role requires five years of maintenance/reliability experience in an industrial setting, with expertise in electrical systems, CMMS, Six Sigma, and P&ID interpretation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum five years of maintenance/reliability engineering in industrial manufacturing.
  • Experience with electrical and mechanical systems inspection and design.
  • Familiarity with CMMS platforms and reliability methods.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure safe, reliable operation of production facilities and optimize life-cycle costs.
  • Make data-driven technical decisions considering costs, risks and benefits.
  • Develop outage plans with parts, contractors, and risk mitigation; present to leadership.
  • Maintain spare parts plans and support inventory control and ordering.
  • Collaborate with Center of Excellence to implement best maintenance practices.
  • Lead reliability initiatives and perform Six Sigma-based improvements.
  • Assist with critical spare identification and BOM creation for assets.
  • Support CMMS-based preventive maintenance schedules and task plans.

What you will enjoy doing*
  • You will ensure safe and reliable operation of production facilities while supporting the lowest life cycle cost
  • Make technical decisions and recommendations based on data analysis and evaluation of costs, risks, and benefits
  • Partner with regional reliability teams and plant staff to develop detailed outage plans, including parts requirements, contractor coordination, planned work, outage execution, and risk mitigation
  • Present outage plans to leadership within Linde and customer organizations
  • Further, you will develop and maintain spare parts plans, support inventory control and ordering, and adjust plans based on operating history and information from the Center of Excellence
  • Partner with the Center of Excellence to implement best practices for maintenance and parts planning
  • Develop and support reliability assessments and utilize Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous improvement
  • Support the setup of new facilities and reliability programs and lead identified reliability initiatives
  • Assist with critical spare identification and BOM creation for critical assets in the CMMS and other critical systems
  • And you will also support regional reliability teams with preventive maintenance compliance schedules and task plans in the CMMS, including electronics-specific maintenance
  • Perform a combination of office and field work with approximately 25% domestic travel and occasional off-hours accessibility via laptop and cell phone
What makes you great
  • You have a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of five (5) years of maintenance/reliability engineering experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
  • Experience with maintenance, engineering, specification, and design of electrical and mechanical equipment and systems, including HV/MV switchgear, UPS systems, generators, substation infrastructure, motors, pumps, chillers, cooling towers, piping, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • You have experience interpreting P&IDs, SWDs, and machinery drawings
  • Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance technologies and reliability methodologies, including RCM, TPM, FMEA, Spare Parts Management, Planning & Scheduling, and CMMS optimization
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and presentation skills with the ability to work independently and lead or participate on cross‑functional teams
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision and adapt quickly to changing priorities and requirements
  • And you have proficiency with computers and standard software packages, including Microsoft Office and E-Mail
  • Understanding of machinery installation, commissioning, and process optimization in an industrial manufacturing environment
  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering preferred; a technology degree may be acceptable depending on experience level
  • CMRP or CRE certification preferred
  • Experience with CMMS systems such as Infor EAM preferred
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies and techniques preferred

Pay commensurate with experience. Open to salary range $108,225 - $158,730
