Job summary

Wabtec Corporation seeks a Maintenance Technician to support production and plant equipment at our Ohio facility. You will diagnose, service, and repair electrical and electronic systems, motors, and PLCs under the Maintenance Supervisor.

The role requires the ability to read diagrams, schedules, and procedures, and to work safely with proper PPE. Typical responsibilities include preventative maintenance, equipment lubrication, repairs, and assisting with electrical projects.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Five years of related experience in a manufacturing environment or equivalent.
• Industrial, electrical, and/or welding certifications preferred.
• Ability to read and follow quality processes and work instructions.
• Must follow safety rules and wear PPE.
• Ability to read and interpret production schedules, operating and maintenance instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform safe operations and preventative maintenance on machinery.
• Inspect and service electrical and electronic systems and PLCs.
• Repair or replace defective components and assist electrical projects.
• Assist in pipe fitting tasks and installation work as needed.
• Maintain HVAC, lighting, water, and other building systems.
• Support site housekeeping and safety programs and maintain a clean, safe workplace.
