Job summary

Megafactory in Brookshire, TX is seeking an Automation Maintenance Technician to support production operations and maintain equipment reliability. The role emphasizes a safety-first mindset and hands-on work with factory automation and robotics.

You will respond to alarms, diagnose issues, and contribute to preventive maintenance while collaborating with process and equipment engineering teams. Shift is 5am-5pm, pay is $37/hr.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience maintaining industrial equipment and automation or equivalent.
• Familiar with electrical/electronics, mechanical/machining, and automation/PLC/robotics.
• Fanuc robot experience is a plus; military or technical experience may count.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day coverage for production line equipment by responding to alarms, breakdowns, and production requests quickly to minimize downtime.
• Diagnose equipment failures, identify root causes, and clearly communicate actions taken to the team.
• Improve preventive maintenance documentation and schedules under supervision.
• Perform major equipment repairs and rebuilds, with some weekends and holidays required.
• Use MES, spares inventory, and issue tracking while partnering with engineering to improve reliability.
