Our client, Megafactory is seeking a Automation Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Automation Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance team supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, a safety-first mindset, and the drive to improve equipment reliability - aligning successfully in the organization.

Location: Brookshire, TX
Pay Range: $37hr
Shift: 5am-5pm
What's the Job?
- Provide day-to-day coverage for production line equipment by responding to alarms, breakdowns, and production requests quickly to minimize downtime.
- Diagnose equipment failures, identify root causes, and clearly communicate actions taken to the team.
- Take initiative to improve preventive maintenance (PM) documentation and schedules under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor and Leads.
- Perform major equipment repairs and rebuilds, with some weekends and holidays required.
- Use manufacturing systems effectively (MES, spares inventory, and issue tracking) while partnering with Process and Equipment Engineering and cross-functional teams to improve reliability and reduce downtime.
What's Needed?
- 3+ years of experience maintaining industrial equipment and automation, or experience as an Automotive Technician, or technical military experience in lieu of a degree, or equivalent experience.
- Fanuc robot experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with electrical/electronics, mechanical/machining, and/or automation/PLC/robotics; experience with Atlas Copco and laser welding & dispense systems is a plus.
- Ability to troubleshoot automation, conveyance, electromechanical, and pneumatic/hydraulic systems; ability to read and interpret basic mechanical drawings and electrical schematics; command of English language (written and verbal).
