Job summary

Career Techniques is seeking a Technical Program Manager to own the master release timeline across engineering teams, with a focus on the POS release cycle. You will map dependencies, surface conflicts early, and drive resolution, while enabling go/no-go decisions based on readiness data.

You will coordinate across departments, establish RACI matrices, run readiness reviews, and maintain a comprehensive risk and status reporting framework to improve velocity and predictability.

Qualifications

  • 5–9 years of experience in technical program or engineering program management coordinating across multiple teams.
  • Proven ability to build and run release coordination at the program level.
  • Strong technical fluency for discussing architecture, dependencies, and risk.
  • Experience defining and documenting processes from scratch (runbooks, RACI, dependency tracking).
  • Demonstrated track record with cross-functional stakeholders (product, QA, marketing, customer success).
  • Clear written status reports for leadership decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Own the master release timeline across engineering teams, focusing on POS release cycle.
  • Map and track cross-team dependencies; surface conflicts and drive resolution.
  • Approve go/no-go decisions based on readiness data; escalate unresolved issues to CTO/Head of Product.
  • Manage release calendar and enforce change control with impact assessments.
  • Define and maintain cross-team RACI matrices and run release readiness reviews.
  • Design program-level status reports and mature delivery practices with engineering leadership.
