Job summary

eVisit is seeking a Release Manager to orchestrate code moves from merge to production across Delivery Teams. You act as air traffic control for releases, owning the technical and business go/no-go, environments, pipeline, and change-control records to keep changes auditable.

This is not a runbook role; you will improve processes, handle non-standard releases, and coordinate cross-functional stakeholders while reporting on deployment performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship and full-time U.S. residency.
• Availability for off-hours release work.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Proven release management experience in a SaaS environment.

Responsibilities

• Release Execution: execute standard and limited releases, manage hotfixes and rollback paths.
• Release Readiness: own go/no-go, surface dependencies and migrations, produce release manifest.
• Branch & Repository Hygiene: enforce branching model, gate release branches, control drift.
• Environment Ownership: manage Devtest, Acceptance, Beta, and Production states.
• Deployment Pipeline: own build-promotion and end-to-end deployment.
• Process & Reporting: track statuses, report metrics, run blameless post-mortems.
• Change Control & Audit: maintain change-control records for every production push.
• Release Communication: derive cut dates, notify teams, coordinate cross-team dependencies.
