Qualifications

• 3 years direct experience as a configuration controller for major application integration and/or major application product release or equivalent.
• Direct hands-on experience with ad hoc query programs.
• Proven data analysis, data verification, and problem-solving abilities.
• Good project management skills and/or substantial exposure to project-based work structures.
• Excellent understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.
• Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
• Experience with source code repository software.

Responsibilities

• Apply technical and process expertise in the planning and management of system/software release, migration, and deployment activities.
• Help define program level automation and ongoing operations for functions including system/software version control, build, migration, packaging, distribution, installation, and verification.
• Apply experience within the configuration management discipline and large scale systems/software development life cycle in providing CM services for software development.
• Strong knowledge of CM within the software engineering lifecycle; understand web architecture and document delivery systems.
• Work as part of cross-functional and cross-company teams.
• Excellent organization, documentation, written and oral communications skills are required.
• Reviews and analyzes software changes and coordinates changes with business analysts and QA teams to ensure compliance with requirements and policy.
• Experience with source code repository software.
• Reviews, generates, and updates internal procedures to reflect current guidelines.
• Conduct internal audits to measure adherence to standards for software development and documentation.
• Assist in the development of change control processes, practices, and guidelines for new technologies.
• Build, compile, and deploy applications from a source code repository to servers in the appropriate environment.
• Prepare and deliver reports or recommendations addressing trouble areas in IT systems and projects.
• Assist in procuring documentation for external audits.
