Job summary

SoundHound AI is seeking a Release Operations Manager to act as the air traffic controller for our Release Management team. You will oversee end-to-end installation and upgrades, coordinate R&D handoffs, and ensure seamless client delivery across environments.

You will leverage Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket to track progress, build trackers, and report status to leadership. This role emphasizes organization, process design, and cross-functional collaboration with R&D and external partners.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to manage multiple high-stakes projects in a fast-paced SaaS/AI environment.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD, Kubernetes, and cloud infrastructure concepts.
• Excellent verbal and written communication to update partners.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end release lifecycle, ensuring deadlines for client deployments.
• Track upgrades, L3/L4 support, and ensure timely R&D handoffs.
• Design trackers for repos, configurations, and environment overrides.
• Serve as liaison between Release, R&D, and external partners.
• Keep Confluence docs up-to-date and customer-friendly.
• Schedule 'White Glove' support with senior/junior engineers.
