Job summary

MedRisk is seeking a Configuration Management Specialist to establish and develop procedures for organized releases from the IT department. The role covers release planning, coordination, and deployment of high-quality software for internal and external clients.

The ideal candidate brings CM discipline experience, strong problem-solving, and excellent communication skills to work across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced development environment.

Qualifications

• 3 years direct CM experience for major app release or integration.
• Proven data analysis and problem solving abilities.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams under pressure.
• Experience with source code repositories and change control.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage system/software release, migration, and deployment activities.
• Define automation and operations for version control, build, packaging, and verification.
• Provide CM services across SDLC for software development projects.
• Coordinate changes with business analysts and QA to meet requirements.
• Develop change control processes for new and existing technologies.
• Build and deploy applications from source repositories to appropriate servers.
• Prepare reports and recommendations addressing IT project risks.
