As we continue to grow, we are seeking a motivated and experienced Release Manager.

BrainRidge Consulting is seeking a motivated and experienced Release Manager to lead release planning, scheduling, and execution across complex technology programs.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate experience in project and release management disciplines, including managing the implementation of multiple large releases as a project or release manager
• Apply working knowledge of core enterprise competencies, including business environment, products, organizational procedures, and standards/tools/methodologies
• Utilize project management software applications and tools (such as MS Project or industry equivalents)
• Lead release planning, including scheduling, stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and alignment
• Manage release scheduling, cross-impact assessments, and conflict resolution
• Oversee end-to-end execution of releases and timely issue resolution for delays or obstacles
• Manage release environment issues and defect prioritization, engaging impacted stakeholders
• Ensure release readiness by managing sign-off requirements and mitigating risks
• Define operational readiness tasks and secure appropriate approvals
• Identify and support process improvement opportunities across the release lifecycle
• Develop and execute training and cross-training plans for the team

Qualifications

• Strong team-building and leadership capabilities
• Extensive project/release management experience with a history of managing multiple work streams and meeting deadlines
• Effective at handling multiple priorities and professional conflict resolution
• Ability to influence and direct work without formal authority
• Strong relationship-building skills with project teams, Technology and Solutions, and customers
• Effective communicator with flexibility, resilience, and resourcefulness
• Confidence and professionalism when addressing and escalating release issues
• Track record of learning new technologies, projects, and processes
• Familiarity with database administration procedures, especially Oracle, is a plus
