Capgemini in Charlotte, NC seeks a Release Manager to lead end-to-end release planning, governance, coordination, and execution across AI Operations and Platform Engineering, delivering production deployments with emphasis on stability, security, and operational excellence.
The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in Release Management, DevOps, and platform engineering, with cloud deployments and Agile experience, and strong stakeholder engagement across business and technology teams.
The Release Manager will lead end-to-end release planning, governance, coordination, and execution across the AI Operations and Platform Engineering portfolio. This role is responsible for ensuring successful deployment of AI solutions, data platforms, cloud infrastructure, platform services, developer tools, and automation capabilities into production environments while maintaining stability, security, compliance, and operational excellence.
The ideal candidate combines experience in enterprise release management, DevOps, platform engineering, cloud operations, AI/ML deployment lifecycle management, and stakeholder engagement across business and technology functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Release Strategy & Governance
Define and manage the enterprise release management framework for AI Operations and Platform Engineering initiatives.
Establish release calendars, governance processes, approval workflows, and release standards.
Conduct release readiness reviews and facilitate go/no-go decisions.
Ensure alignment across Agile Release Trains (ARTs), product teams, engineering teams, and operational stakeholders.
Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement:
Define release management KPIs and operational success metrics
Analyze release trends and drive process improvements.
Implement release automation and standardization initiatives.
Support Change Management and Platform Reliability maturity programs.
Stakeholder & Executive Communication:
Serve as the primary point of contact for all release-related activities.
Communicate release schedules, deployment status, risks, and dependencies to leadership.
Facilitate coordination among engineering, architecture, business operations, support teams, and vendors.
Prepare executive dashboards and release performance reports.
Experience:
3-5 years of experience in Release Management, Program Delivery, DevOps, Platform Engineering, or IT Operations.
Experience supporting cloud-based platforms, enterprise applications, and infrastructure deployments.
Demonstrated experience working in Agile and DevOps environments.
Experience managing multiple technology teams and vendors
The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $34.67/hour - $54.18/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
