About the job

The Product Lifecycle Team is seeking a Release Manager to manage and coordinate work across the various phases of the Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC): Assess, Plan, Build & Commercialize, and Release. Our team provides governance and frameworks for managing, evaluating, and communicating product lifecycle status, and coordinating actions based on lifecycle evaluations. We collaborate with teams across the organization to ensure informed decision-making and coordinated implementation of those decisions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure products pass through the framework efficiently, leading to successful releases.
• Manage the creation and documentation of key PDLC deliverables such as Business Case, Delivery Plan, and Commitment Targets.
• Communicate and report the status of PDLC items to the Product Lifecycle team and stakeholders.
• Work with cross-divisional teams to establish operating models and delivery plans for approved products.
• Schedule and manage regular Build & Commercialize status meetings to monitor progress and identify risks.
• Ensure products are ready for assessment at various PDLC gates.
• Navigate the framework successfully to bring products to market as planned.
• Follow applicable security policies and processes to support secure software development.

Required Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in Project Management or Release Coordination.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
• Equivalent education, training, and experience may be considered.
• Experience leading cross-divisional or complex projects.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills.
• Understanding of software release management and deployment.
• Curious, passionate, authentic, and accountable — our core values.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Jira and/or ServiceNow.
• Ability to generate and communicate status reports.
• Experience defining and communicating product strategy.
• PMP certification.
• Experience launching and commercializing B2B software.
