Devopsroles seeks a Release Manager to own the mechanics of moving code from merge to production across Delivery Teams. You will act as air traffic control for each release, knowing what is in and out, coordinating teams, and owning the go/no-go decision.

You will also own environments, the deployment pipeline, and the change-control record that ensures releases are safe, auditable, and compliant. You will improve processes and handle non-standard releases with rigor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong Git competency with branching, merges, and tag management.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containers, images, and deployment architectures.
• Proven release management experience in a SaaS environment.
• Excellent project and process management, tracking scope and dependencies.
• Strong communication and documentation skills with cross-functional teams.

Responsabilités

• Release Execution: handle Standard and Limited releases, hotfixes, and rollback paths.
• Release Readiness: decide go/no-go for grouped releases and surface dependencies.
• Branch and Repository Hygiene: enforce branching model across all repos and prevent drift.
• Environment Ownership: manage Devtest, Acceptance, Beta, and Production environments.
• Deployment Pipeline: own build-promotion and end-to-end deployment, removing manual steps.
• Process and Reporting: maintain accurate deploy-pending statuses and release metrics; conduct retrospectives on failures.
• Change Control and Audit Evidence: maintain change-control records for every production push.
• Release Communication: derive cut dates, communicate schedules to Sales, CS, and leadership.
