Job summary

Applied Intuition, Inc. is seeking a Build & Release Engineer in Sunnyvale, CA to own release cuts, manage version updates, and maintain CI/CD pipelines.

You will lead artifact management and the internal Release Management portal, collaborating with multiple domain teams to ensure reliable software delivery. You will design and implement scalable release infrastructure, troubleshoot failures, and coordinate with Embedded, UX/HMI, OTA teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong coding ability in at least one modern language (Python/Go/Java/JS/TS).
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Buildkite).
• Strong Git experience including branching, tagging, and release workflows.
• Experience with artifact management systems (e.g., Artifactory).
• Experience designing or maintaining internal tools or portals.
• Strong troubleshooting across build, dependency, and release issues.

Responsibilities

• Own release cuts from Git repositories across multiple product lines and branches.
• Manage version uprevs and firmware bumps with upstream teams.
• Define and own release branching, tagging, and versioning strategies.
• Investigate and resolve complex build failures and coordinate fixes.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines for build, test, and deployment.
• Automate build infrastructure to reduce manual effort and enforce quality gates.
• Own artifact lifecycle, including versioning, signing, storage, and cross-environment promotion.
• Develop and maintain the internal Release Management portal and integrate with CI/CD systems.
