Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a degree program and advancing to junior year in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or related field.
• Basic understanding of Git and scripting in Python or Bash.
• Some exposure to CI/CD, ticketing systems (Jira, ServiceNow) or Windows/Unix is a plus.
• Strong written and oral communication skills and curiosity about process inefficiencies.

Responsibilities

• Analyze ServiceNow and Jira ticket history to identify recurring manual-effort issues suitable for automation.
• Build a working automation, script, or self-service tool for at least one high-volume ticket type.
• Help build and maintain software build and release processes with a focus on self-service and developer enablement.
• Support release tracking and day-to-day ticket triage, and document runbooks and known issues.
• Attend standups, planning and retrospectives; collaborate with engineering, QA and support to refine tools based on feedback.
• Perform additional duties and contribute to projects as assigned.
