Ideal candidates will have experience with protective relays, knowledge of relay test software, and must be able to pass drug screening and background checks. The role includes responsibility for safety culture, conducting installations, and developing testing procedures. Qualifications
Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Complete a satisfactory criminal background check.
Able to work overtime and travel out of town.
Must have a valid driver's license and maintain a good driving record.
Able to lift 70 lbs.
Responsibilities
Leader in Safety Culture and responsible for other team members.
Perform installation, commissioning, testing and maintenance of protective relaying equipment.
Develop standard commissioning, testing and maintenance procedures.
Perform end-to-end relay testing and analyze operations.
Develop testing and isolation procedures for outages.
Troubleshooting distribution and transmission controls circuits
Knowledge of relay test software
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Education
Bachelor's or associate degree in electrical/Electronic technology
Military Experience
4-year Engineering Degree
