Asplundh Tree Expert Co is looking for a Relay Technician II in Richardson, Texas. In this role, you will conduct electrical testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of relays in electrical power stations. You need hands-on experience with installing and repairing protective relays and a valid driver's license. Qualifications

• Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Complete a satisfactory criminal background check.
• Must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Capable of using relay test equipment and tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, commissioning, testing and maintenance of protective relaying equipment.
• Develop written standard commissioning, testing and maintenance procedures.
• Perform function testing of substation control circuits.
• Conduct end-to-end relay testing using relay test software.

Skills

Installation, maintenance, testing & repairing protective relays

Troubleshooting distribution and transmission controls circuits

Knowledge of relay test software

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Education

Bachelor's or associate degree in electrical/Electronic technology
