Qualifications

• Hands-on experience installing, maintaining, testing & repairing protective relays in substations.
• Capable of analyzing equipment protective relays and instrumentation transformers.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, commissioning, testing and maintenance of protective relaying equipment.
• Develop written standard procedures for commissioning and maintenance of protective relaying.
• Perform function testing of substation control circuits.

Skills

Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen

Experience installing and maintaining protective relays

Knowledge of relay test software

Ability to work overtime and travel

Troubleshooting distribution and transmission control circuits

Education

Bachelor's or associate degree in electrical/Electronic technology
