Nuvision Federal Credit Union is seeking a Relationship Specialist I for the Hayward, CA branch. This full-time, onsite role handles member transactions, cross-sells financial products, and ensures accurate cash handling with a focus on exceptional member service.

The RS I works under supervision, participates in compliance training, and supports daily operations while maintaining confidentiality and a professional demeanor.

Qualifications

• 1 year related branch operations experience.
• Knowledge of BSA, Regulation CC, D, E and all other pertinent regulations.
• Comprehensive knowledge of all deposit account products and services.
• Basic knowledge of all applicable Federal, State and NCUA regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic math skills to compute interest on savings, loans, and certificates.
• Proficient in PC operations including Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Knowledge of Internet / Intranet and SharePoint.
• Good verbal and written communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail and professional demeanor.
• Capable of working under pressure and with frequent interruptions.
• Successful completion of all compliance coursework.
• NMLS Registered.

Responsibilities

• Receives and disburses funds, posts deposits and loan payments, transfers, money orders, cash advances, and withdrawals.
• Opens savings, checking, money market, and certificates of deposit accounts.
• Processes plastic card services: temporary cards, re‑pinning, and ordering new cards.
• Maintains records of sale transactions and balances a daily cash drawer.
• Cross-sells products and services to support production goals.
• Completes compliance training and other RS I training.
• Balances cash drawer and supports continuous improvement activities.
• Represents the credit union in a positive, professional manner.
