About The Role
Altabank, Division of Glacier Bank, is hiring a Relationship Manager II for our Murray City Loan Production Office.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Originate new loan commitments each year in accordance with the Bank’s incentive compensation plan.
- Generate and manage a loan portfolio of $15-20 million or higher with the overall objective of maintaining and increasing its asset quality and generating fee income.
- Manage construction, CRE, SBA, consumer, and C&I loans, ensuring compliance with loan agreement terms, collecting on past due loans, covenant monitoring, accurate loan grading, and completing monitoring reports promptly.
- Analyze loan applications to assess risk and make credit decisions.
- Develop relationships with new and existing customers to attract loans, deposits, and other Bank products.
- Collaborate with team members to prepare and present loans for approval.
- Process loan renewals and extensions.
- Review all loan documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance; clearly communicate loan details to customers.
- Aim to increase profitable loan volume, maintain low delinquency and charge-off rates, and ensure adherence to Bank policies and procedures.
- Comply with applicable laws and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act, Patriot Act, and OFAC.
- Stay current on bank policies, procedures, products, and services through ongoing learning.
- Respond promptly to audits and management reports.
- Complete required training within designated timeframes and seek clarification when needed.

- Maintain regular attendance for in-person customer contact.

About You
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Five to ten years of relevant experience.
- College degree or equivalent experience.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, ABILITY:
- Experience analyzing financial statements and assessing risk.
- Understanding of business structures.
- Knowledge of bank products, lending laws, and compliance.
- Proficiency with CRM tools and computer skills.
- Strong communication and writing skills.
- Leadership and managerial capabilities.
- Ability to interact professionally with diverse individuals.
- Reliable and timely attendance.
- Adaptability to changing priorities and demands.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Includes sitting, repetitive hand motions, talking, hearing, standing, walking, lifting, reaching, and operating office equipment. Visual acuity for reading and data analysis is required. Ability to work extended hours and travel as needed. Must be able to climb stairs in emergencies.
