Job summary

First Commonwealth Bank is seeking a Teller in the Pittsburgh area to support customers with transactions, build relationships, and promote financial solutions. You will be the frontline for a positive customer experience, safeguarding privacy and security while handling cash and daily operations.

You will develop product knowledge, participate in sales efforts, and pursue personal development within the Pathways program.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Two or more years of relevant experience in a client-centric sales environment with a proven track record of exceeding goals.
• Excellent communications skills, passionate about helping others, motivated to learn, solutions-based sales skills, professionalism, relationship-building skills, ability to excel in a complex and dynamic environment.
• Technologically savvy (i.e., Microsoft Office, Internet, mobile technology, bank systems).
• A valid driver’s license and ability/willingness to travel regionally.

Responsibilities

• Protect the privacy and security of our customers.
• Process daily transactions and be alert to fraud.
• Follow proper cash handling, teller differences and dual control guidelines.
• Always maintain proper cash limits including drawer, vault and total FSC limits.
• Mitigate risk by adhering to policies, procedures and processes.
• Grow consumer relationships through conversations and referrals.
• Deepen consumer relationships through outbound calls and call goals.
• Obtain unsecured lending certification to uncover non-real estate lending opportunities.
• Promote and participate in Refer-A-Friend program.
