Job summary

Boutique Commercial Bank in Encinitas is seeking an experienced Universal Banker to join our branch. This role blends teller responsibilities with new accounts, servicing, wires and business banking support.

You will handle deposits, wire requests, online banking questions and maintain compliance with BSA/AML. The position offers stability, growth opportunities and a collaborative local team.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of branch banking experience
• Experience processing deposits, withdrawals and other banking transactions
• New account opening experience preferred
• Knowledge of basic branch banking procedures and regulations

Responsibilities

• Process customer deposits, withdrawals, transfers and other daily teller transactions
• Handle cashier’s checks, loan payments, stop payments and account inquiries
• Assist customers with debit card and online banking questions
• Process domestic, international and foreign currency wire requests
• Perform cash verification and assist with branch cash-related responsibilities
• Develop relationships with both business and consumer banking customers
• Follow BSA/AML, CIP, OFAC and other banking compliance requirements
• Assist with branch opening and closing procedures as needed
