Job summary

Atlanta Postal Credit Union in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Consumer Lending Representative to work directly with members on auto loans, personal loans, lines of credit and other consumer lending products. The role emphasizes relationship-building, needs-based selling, and excellent member service. This is a Regular Full-Time position (non-exempt, hourly).

Qualifications

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent with at least 1 year of sales experience.
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with ability to explain lending products clearly.

Responsibilities

Deliver outstanding service to members in alignment with Service Promises and credit union values.
Consult with member applicants on consumer and personal lending needs of nominal to moderate complexity.
Follow up on loan applications originating through channels (phone, internet, in-branch).
Explain underwriting decisions, approval stipulations, and loan products to members.
Set up loan closings and ensure disclosure requirements are met.
Maintain knowledge of credit union products and services and cross-sell ancillary offerings.
