Job summary

Mazuma Credit Union in Kansas City, MO is hiring a Relationship Builder - Teller to deliver exceptional member service at the front line. You will handle routine transactions, explain account activity and refer complex needs to Advisors.

Typical day includes in-branch and drive-thru interactions, cash handling, and assisting members with deposits, withdrawals, transfers, bill payments. This is a full-time role with a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• 1 year of related experience: customer service, hospitality, finance, or cash handling.
• Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an amazing experience to our Members, both in branch and drive-thru.
• Balance vault cash, drawers, cash recycling, and cash disbursement machines.
• Assist Members with daily account transactions, including cash and check deposits, cash withdrawals, transfers, bill payments, and bond processing.
• Understand and explain account activity and fees to Members.
• Make necessary product referrals, and refer members to appropriate Advisors for advanced account needs.
• Bring a positive attitude, collaborative spirit, and commitment to creating exceptional Member experiences.

About the role

The Relationship Builder - Teller is a unique role at a unique Credit Union. As a front-line representative of the Member experience, you'll help Members with their everyday banking needs while building meaningful relationships that make them feel valued and appreciated.

You’ll confidently address routine transactions, identify opportunities to help Members achieve their financial goals, and connect them with the appropriate Advisor for more complex needs.
