Job summary

First Security Bank in Montana seeks a Relationship Banker to be the main branch contact for customers, handling everyday transactions and cultivating relationships through referrals. The role emphasizes owning the customer interaction from start to finish to foster personal connections.

You will assist with account openings, advise on products, and support growth initiatives while upholding the bank’s customer service standards and CRA commitments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 6 months related experience in customer service, sales, and/or banking.
• Placement to Relationship Banker II or III depends on experience.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process customer financial transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cashier’s checks, money orders, and funds transfers; balance cash drawer daily.
• Open and close client accounts; answer questions about bank products and services and make recommendations to clients.
• Provide exceptional customer service, modeling the First Security Bank “Welcome” tenets.
• Engage with corporate growth strategies, initiatives, and partners.
• Support CRA through business development efforts.
