Job summary

BMO Financial Group is seeking a customer-focused banking professional to act as an originator of consumer loans and provide guidance on financial solutions across personal and small business needs.

You will engage customers with needs-based assessments, present tailored options for everyday banking, lending, home financing, and small business solutions, and collaborate with branch teams to deliver an optimal customer experience.

Qualifications

• Typically between 2-3 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study desirable or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Appropriate lending qualifications and designations.
• Working knowledge of personal and small business customer needs and solutions.
• Working knowledge of retail investments and lending products.

Responsibilities

• Delivers exceptional service to customers and prospects.
• Identifies customer needs and provides advice and guidance regarding financial solutions.
• Engages customers to complete needs assessments and grow loyalty.
• Makes credit recommendations for personal lending transactions in line with policies.
• Acts as a key member of a collaborative branch and market team.
• Ensures compliance with legal, regulatory and risk management requirements.
