Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years banking experience.
• Minimum 1 year of experience managing a loan portfolio.
• Experience in consumer or commercial lending.
• Ability to build and retain customer relationships.
• Strong understanding of banking products, services and lending practices.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Support the full loan lifecycle from application through closing.
• Gather and organize financial information, documentation, and loan packages.
• Ensure loan files are accurate, complete, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate loan closings, documentation, funding, and post-closing activities.
• Partner with lenders, credit personnel, and operations teams to ensure timely processing and customer communication.
• Serve as a resource and mentor for less experienced team members.
• Promote operational accuracy, efficiency, and service excellence.
• Assist with workflow coordination and branch operational support.
• Help train and develop teammates on products, procedures, and customer service standards.
• Support branch leadership when needed.
• Maintain knowledge of banking regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with applicable banking laws and internal controls.
• Promote risk awareness and quality assurance in daily operations.
• Demonstrate sound judgment in handling customer transactions and lending-related activities.
• Provide depth to deposit account servicing with handling inquiries, account management, and related tasks.
• Assist with deposits, withdrawals, wire transfers, and account servicing procedures.
• Open new accounts and maintain existing accounts using bank systems.
• Issue debit cards and manage account documents.
• Process wire transfers and associated agreements.
• Handle debit card disputes and coordinate with Fraud Department.
• Develop relationships to generate referrals and contribute to branch growth.
