Qualifications

• High School Diploma strongly preferred; some college preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of banking experience as a Teller, Lending Assistant or New Accounts.
• Cash handling experience is preferred.
• Superior customer service skills required.
• Ability to read, write, and verbally communicate with customers and coworkers.
• Ability to manage time effectively and multi-task independently.
• Maintain a professional appearance and ethical conduct.

Responsibilities

• Serves as customers' single point of contact for First United Bank products and services.
• Open new accounts, certificates of deposit, and other bank products; provide information and paperwork.
• Assist customers with routine questions: balance inquiries, statements, online banking, transfers, deposits, withdrawals.
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently; monitor drawer limits and vault duties.
• Resolve customer issues and complaints; adhere to policies and regulatory standards.
• Participate in sales campaigns and educate customers and peers about products and services.
