Qualifications

• High School Diploma strongly preferred.
• Some college is strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of banking experience required.
• Cash handling experience is preferred.
• Superior customer service skills required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of First United Bank products, services, procedures, policies and regulatory issues.
• Follows proper procedures for customer-servicing activities.
• Retains existing customers and develops new relationships.
• Serves as customers' single point of contact on all bank products and services.
• Meets/exceeds performance goals and participates in sales campaigns.
• Participates in meetings, events, and customer appreciation/community events.
• Greet customers, build rapport, and promote customer loyalty.
• Identifies customer needs and matches them with bank products and services.
• Opens new accounts and related products; handles paperwork accurately.
• Assists customers with routine questions and requests (balances, statements, online banking, transfers, etc.).
• Performs cash handling tasks, vault duties, and ensures drawer accuracy.
• Resolves customer issues and inquiries proactively.
• Maintains daily balance verifications and security duties.
• Masters the duties of the Relationship Banker I position.
