Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of cash handling experience or equivalent customer service experience.
• 1 year or more in customer service in banking, financial services or goal driven sales position preferred.
• Solid oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Opening new consumer accounts and services.
• Display excellent communication and servicing skills with clients.
• Identify customer needs and opportunities to grow relationships with a disciplined sales focus.
• Create and maintain strong client relationships.
• Multi-task and support team perspective.
• Comply with bank security and operational policies/procedures.
• Master computer programs used to assist clients and branch automation tools.
• Understand regulatory compliance requirements related to this role.
• Conduct client-facing transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, payments as needed on rotation.
• Balance cash and resolve errors.
• Support ITM balancing, vault balancing, card audits, shipments, opening/closing as needed.
• Assist clients with debit card replacements, PIN changes, stop payments, dormant accounts, etc.
• Demonstrate MVB Core values in daily work.
• Cross-train toward RBII role and participate in CRA events.
• Maintain professionalism with clients at every touchpoint.
