Job summary

MVB Financial Corp. seeks a Relationship Banker I to welcome clients, open and service consumer accounts, process transactions, and build lasting relationships in a branch setting across multiple states.

You will develop sales skills, learn regulatory requirements, and aim for RBII with cross-training and community involvement; candidates should have high school diploma and banking/customer service experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of cash handling experience or equivalent customer service experience.
• 1 year or more in customer service in banking, financial services or goal driven sales position preferred.
• Solid oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Open new consumer accounts and provide account servicing.
• Demonstrate excellent communication with clients both orally and in writing.
• Identify customer needs and opportunities to grow relationships with a disciplined sales focus.
• Create and maintain strong client relationships and support team objectives.
• Ensure compliance with bank policies and regulations.
• Handle client transactions and balance cash as required.
