Job summary

Columbia Bank is seeking a Personal Banker to deliver exceptional client experiences and expand client relationships in Port Orchard, WA. You will ask questions to identify needs, offer appropriate products, and refer clients to bankers as needed while originating consumer lending opportunities.

You will open accounts, provide proactive service, handle cash accurately, and support teller functions when required. A high school diploma and banking experience help you succeed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, required.
• 1 year Teller or other banking experience preferred.
• Ability and desire to actively develop consumer lending skills.
• Accurately handle cash, balance accounts and drawers, and perform calculations.

Responsibilities

• Open consumer and business accounts for existing and new clients.
• Provide excellent client service with timely responses to inquiries.
• Refer clients to appropriate internal partners for products and services.
• Uncover consumer lending opportunities and follow through on commitments.
• Resolve client issues with proactive solutions and strong follow-through.
• Support teller functions when needed and assist in other duties as required.
