Job summary

Citi in Staten Island, NY seeks an entry-level Personal Banker SAFE Act to support sales and service activities with the customer service team. You will foster customer loyalty and help grow sales to individual consumer clients.

You will handle small business referrals, assist with credit requests under $250K, mentor branch staff, and promote digital banking tools while ensuring compliance with Citi policies and risk controls.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of relevant experience.
• NMLS registration; Safe Act compliant.
• Knowledge of Smart Banking tools and technologies.
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with business credit requests less than $250K, recognize/refer larger lending opportunities and cross sell treasury and related small business products
• Build referral business opportunities through Centers of Influence (COIs) and the MGM Program
• Assist in strategies to grow the small business client and implement sales plans
• Deliver client services and outbound/inbound calls to acquire new relationships and deepen existing ones
• Coach branch staff on products and programs, identifying client needs and referrals
• Educate clients on service and digital channels and present product offers
• Assess risk and ensure compliance with Citigroup policies and laws
