Job summary

Citi in Fresh Meadows, New York seeks an entry-level Personal Banker SAFE Act to assist in sales, products and services with the customer service team. The role focuses on building relationships with individual consumers and supporting branch sales efforts.

You will handle credit requests under 250K, refer larger opportunities, coach staff, educate clients on digital channels, and ensure adherence to Citigroup policies while delivering a high-quality client experience.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of relevant experience.
• Previous banking, retail, or sales experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Smart Banking tools and technologies.
• NMLS registration; Safe Act compliant.
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with small business credit requests under $250K and refer larger lending opportunities.
• Build referral opportunities through COIs and MGM program.
• Assist in strategies to grow the small business client and implement sales plans.
• Deliver client services and outbound/inbound calls to acquire and deepen relationships through cross-sell of products.
• Provide coaching to Tellers and branch staff on products and programs.
