Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Relationship Banker to build trusted relationships with customers by meeting them in-branch and advising on banking solutions tailored to their goals. The role involves educating clients on deposits and loans, handling account openings, and supporting branch activities.

The position requires NMLS registration compliance, a high school diploma or equivalent, and 4–5+ years of retail banking experience. A strong customer service mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• NMLS registration under the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z, plus ongoing compliance requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Four to five or more years of job related, retail banking experience or a combination of experience and training.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with customers by meeting face to face and engaging them to provide the best possible counsel.
• Assess and attend to customers' banking needs, obtain and process customer and account information, educate clients on deposit and loan products and services, and recommend financial solutions.
• Originate and close consumer loans, open accounts, and open and/or close the branch.
