Job summary

Jobtailor in the United States seeks a Relationship Banker LP who will transition to Relationship Banker (SAFE) after licensing. You will acquire, manage, and grow a portfolio of consumer and business client relationships and lead discovery-driven conversations to tailor banking and credit strategies.

You will drive retention and balanced growth across deposits, lending, and investments, educate customers on self-service and mobile options, and collaborate with Wealth, Home Lending, and Business

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of customer service experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
  • 1+ year of assessing and meeting customer needs or helping with issue resolution
  • 1+ year of building and maintaining effective relationships with customers and partners
  • Proven ability to source, acquire, and deepen relationships through proactive outreach and internal partnerships
  • Knowledge of book of business management, planning conversation documentation, and follow-through across deposits, lending, and investments
  • Experience assessing needs and recommending products and services for consumer and business customers
  • Ability to communicate clearly and confidently, listen with empathy, and build credibility and trust
  • 1+ year of financial services experience in consumer, home lending, business banking, or investments

Responsibilities

  • Work in a collaborative branch environment and support customers through appointments, lobby engagement, and proactive outreach
  • Transition from the temporary Relationship Banker LP role to Relationship Banker (SAFE) after successful licensing and SAFE requirements

  • Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam required for FINRA qualifications earned after September 30, 2018
  • State Insurance license(s) required, active or completed within a designated timeframe
  • SAFE registration required at the time of employment
  • Loan Originators must meet LO/CFPB requirements
  • Ability to work a schedule that includes most Saturdays
  • Must meet enhanced financial fitness and criminal background standards
  • Must comply with financial responsibility, character, fitness, and criminal background standards
  • No visa sponsorship available
