Position Title: Relationship Banker

Business Unit: Retail

Reports to: Varies Based on Assignment

Position Overview

This position involves developing proficiency in basic consumer banking transactions, account servicing, and lending. Responsibilities include executing branch leads, handling customer transactions, and identifying sales opportunities. Adherence to all policies, procedures, and core values is required. The role may require working at various locations within the market.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Promote sales through greeting customers, identifying needs, and leveraging leads.
  • Make recommendations for bank products and cross-sell services.
  • Meet weekly sales/referral goals set by the Branch Manager.
  • Incorporate digital products into customer interactions.
  • Use approved branch technology for data management.
  • Perform routine operational duties, including teller transactions.
  • Complete other duties and projects as assigned.
  • Maintain risk management responsibilities and ensure compliance with regulations.
Minimum Requirements

High School diploma or GED.

No prior experience required.

Skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with proficiency in MS Word (Basic), MS Excel (Intermediate), MS PowerPoint (Basic).
  • Knowledge of banking policies, products, and services.
Licenses/Certifications

Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry Identifier preferred, but required.

Work Conditions

Standard office environment; no additional physical requirements.
