Job Description

As a Relationship Banker in Branch Banking, you will take a lead role in delivering an outstanding experience to Chase customers. You will acquire, manage, and retain meaningful relationships with our customers, using your financial knowledge to offer thoughtful solutions to help address their financial needs, contributing to the success of the branch. You will be making the lives of customers easier by sharing and setting up self-service options to access their accounts 24/7.

Job Responsibilities
  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience with a customer-first attitude
  • Manage assigned customers and proactively meet with them, both in person and over the phone, to build relationships, discover financial needs, and recommend products and services
  • Make personal connections, engage and educate customers, ask open-ended questions, and listen to establish trust
  • Influence, educate, and connect customers to technology
  • Provide financial options for customers using a consultative approach
  • Learn products, services, and procedures quickly and accurately, delivering integrated solutions
  • Partner with Specialists (Financial Advisors, Mortgage Bankers, Business Relationship Managers) to connect customers to experts for specialized financial needs
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
  • 1+ year of experience in retail banking sales, financial services sales, or related industry, with success in acquiring new clients, deepening relationships, and achieving results
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Beginning October 1, 2018, Securities Industry Essential (SIE) exam, FINRA Series 6/7, state registration (including 63 or 66 if required), and Life licenses are required; unlicensed applicants must obtain licenses within 180 days of hire
  • Operate within risk parameters and meet compliance obligations, including training completion
  • Excellent communication skills, both in person and over the phone, with ability to tailor product benefits to customer needs
  • Ability to work branch hours, including weekends and some evenings
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
  • College degree or military experience
  • Professional, organized, with strong follow-up skills
  • Confident in sharing product knowledge and solutions with clients
  • Experience adhering to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Additional Information

This position is subject to Dodd Frank/Truth in Lending Act qualification requirements for Loan Originators. Employment offers are contingent on review of criminal history, credit report, and other relevant information.
