Position Title: Relationship Banker

Business Unit: Retail

Reports to: Varies Based on Assignment

Position Overview: This position involves developing proficiency in basic consumer banking transactions, account servicing, and lending. The incumbent executes branch leads under the Manager's direction, handles customer transactions, and identifies opportunities for sales or referrals. Adherence to FNB policies, procedures, strategies, and Core Values is required. The role may require working at various locations within the market.

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Promote sales through greeting customers, identifying needs, leveraging leads, and outbound calling.
  2. Make recommendations for banking products and services, and cross-sell when appropriate.
  3. Achieve weekly sales/referral goals set by the Branch Manager.
  4. Incorporate FNB digital products into customer interactions.
  5. Use approved technology to input and maintain data quality for referrals, customers, and applicants.
  6. Manage the lifecycle of new and existing relationships per consumer bank standards.
  7. Perform routine operational duties, including teller transactions and other tasks per policies.
  8. Complete other duties and projects as assigned.
  9. Serve as risk managers by understanding and managing daily risks as per F.N.B. policies.
  10. Ensure compliance with regulatory laws and company procedures.

Minimum Education: High School diploma or GED

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • Proficiency with personal computers and software: MS Word (Basic), MS Excel (Intermediate), MS PowerPoint (Basic)
  • Knowledge of banking policies, procedures, and products
  • Sales and customer service experience

Licensures/Certifications: Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry Identifier preferred but will be required.
