Position Overview:
The Relationship Banker contributes to the success of Retail Banking Centers by being a trusted resource for customers. Responsibilities include marketing to identify customer needs, providing solutions to grow loans, deposits, and income, delivering a customer-centric experience, and maintaining operational discipline. This role supports Banking Centers within the District and may require occasional Saturday work.
Position Responsibilities:
Marketing Activities:
- Execute proactive marketing for customer attraction, retention, and expansion.
- Complete daily planning activities.
- Onboard and engage customers, introduce products and services, and follow up promptly.
- Act as a digital ambassador to promote digital solutions.
- Initiate financial wellness conversations to add value.
- Support portfolio management efforts to retain and grow customer relationships.
- Participate in community events to increase outreach.
- Utilize CRM tools effectively.
Operational Risk:
- Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and policies.
- Complete necessary compliance training.
- Manage operational and risk activities for the role.
- Follow risk assessment and compliance standards.
- Control losses by adhering to policies.
Customer Experience Management:
- Develop product knowledge and participate in Banker Readiness.
- Lead banking center activities in the absence of the Manager.
- Assess needs and add value to customers.
- Educate customers and fulfill requests.
- Resolve complaints and deepen relationships.
- Follow customer experience guidelines and feedback.
- Complete Comerica Platform Training.
- Provide excellent service in all interactions.
- Perform routine Teller transactions as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality of customer information.
Partnership:
- Enhance collaboration within the Banking Center.
- Identify opportunities to connect customers with partners.
